Yup. The news today is slow. Scanning various sites today I have learned...
- Charlie Weis is safe for one more year at Notre Dame. Seriously, does anyone care? Weis makes a ton of money. Notre Dame makes a ton of money. Weis sucks. Notre Dame sucks. Let's move on.
- Plaxico Burress has been suspended for four games by the NFL. Let's see how much he will be suspended in "real life" by the judicial system. I have a feeling he will be made a public example get the maximum, and Rick Reilly will judge him in his next column.
- Michael Phelps is SI's Sportsman of the Year. He deserves that based on his physique alone. And he eats a ton. The two are not mutually exclusive...Phelps is living proof.
- Apparently Kyle Singler and Duke are the real deal this year. We'll see about that...
